TDI Golf Busy with Better Billy Bunkers

Certified Better Billy Bunker Installer TDI Golf has been moving right along in 2014. From Florida to Illinois TDI Golf's employees have been working hard. The company continues to be a leader in the golf course construction industry.

Having just finished up a bunker restoration at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida the crews will head to Virginia to start installing Better Billy Bunkers at Twin Lakes Golf Club and Biltmore Forest Country Club in Asheville, NC will undergo a full Better Billy Bunker renovation.

Recent rains tested the new bunkers at St. Andrews CC but a Friday night downpour didn't phase this Better Billy Bunker:

In addition to completing the project at St. Andrews CC and heading to Virginia and North Carolina crews have also been working hard at Ridgemoor Country Club in Chicago, IL and the University of Louisville Golf Club (formerly the Cardinal Club). U of L Golf Club is undergoing a complete Better Billy Bunker renovation at this time. Check out some of the pictures below:







Ridgemoor Country Club is not only redoing their bunkers using the Better Billy Bunker method but they are also completely renovating greens, tees, drainage and irrigation. Below you can can see the staff removing the existing sand in preparation for the "Better Billy Bunkers".

ForeFront Construction Continues Renovating Bunkers

It has been a busy spring and summer of 2014 for ForeFront Construction. They have been from Virginia to North Carolina to Texas to Arizona.

Earlier in the spring work was done at the Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in Katy, TX. The Carlton Gibson design features 50 bunkers throughout the course and is managed by Eagle Golf. Better Billy Bunkers were installed throughout to help ease maintenance and keep sand contaminate free.

ForeFront Construction was also in Virginia earlier in the year at the Club at Creighton Farms. The Jack Nicklaus signature design is one on the finest golf course on the Eastern Seaboard and has been selected to host the Senior PGA Professional National Championship. Making the great course even greater, Better Billy Bunkers were installed around the course improving playability and easing maintenance.

The certified Better Billy Bunker installer is currently at Bears Best in Las Vegas, NV and Paradise Valley just outside of Phoenix, AZ working to install Better Billy Bunkers at both properties. Both projects should be completed by end of summer.

Green Tee Golf Renovates Bunkers at Champions Retreat Golf Club

Champions Retreat in Evans, GA is a unique golf course. It is a 27 hole facility just outside of Augusta that has 3 nines each designed by one of the games greats. Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus each put their stamp on this wonderful piece of property.

Renovations were recently completed on the Palmer nine installing the Better Billy Bunker system on course's huge bunkers. Green Tee Golf completely the renovation for Golf Course Superintendent Kirk McKinney in mid fall and a series of demonstration Better Billy Bunker out performed the existing bunkers during a flood event.  Recent rain events have tested the Better Billy Bunkers, but they have performed just as anticipated. In fact, the course plans to renovate the Player nine later in 2014.
